Afloordable is a UK-based e-commerce flooring retailer selling products directly to customers. We provide a wide range of flooring including carpet, vinyl, LVT and accessories.

Ordering

How do I place an order?

All orders can be placed through our website. Once you complete checkout, you’ll receive an Order Confirmation email. This means your contract with us has begun.

I made a mistake in my order – can it be changed?

If we haven’t cut or dispatched your order yet, we will do our best to ament it.

Can I cancel my order?

You can cancel stocked items before dispatch, unless they have been cut specifically for you.

You cannot cancel:
– cut-to-size flooring (once cutting has begun)
– custom orders
– non-stock/special orders

Products

Are product colours accurate?

We display our products as accurately as possible, but colours may vary due to screen settings, lighting and batch variations. Slight differences in shade are normal in flooring.

Will all flooring come from the same batch?

We always try to supply flooring from a single batch, but batch variations cannot be guaranteed. Once flooring has been installed, we cannot accept claims for shade differences.

How do I know if the product is suitable for my home?

We provide detailed information on each product, but we cannot guarantee suitability for your specific installation. If unsure, please check with your installer or seek professional advice.

Delivery

How much is delivery?

Delivery costs are shown at checkout. Prices depend on product type, weight, and location.

How long does delivery take?

You will receive an estimated delivery window at checkout or in your confirmation email. Delivery times can vary by product type and stock availability.

Do I need to be home to receive delivery?

Yes – unless you choose a ‘leave safe’ option (where available).
For large flooring items, someone must be present to accept delivery.

Will the driver bring the items inside?

Most deliveries are kerbside, meaning the driver will deliver to the roadside or nearest accessible point. You are responsible for moving goods into the property.

What if my delivery arrives damaged?

If damage is visible:
– note it on the carrier’s delivery record (if possible)
– notify us within 12 hours with photos

If hidden damage is discovered later:
– notify us within 2 days

Returns & Cancellations

Can I return flooring if I change my mind?

Under UK law, you have a 14-day cooling off period for most online purchases.

However, this does not apply to:
– Flooring cut to your required size
– Made-to-measure items
– Special orders / non-stock items

These cannot be returned unless faulty.

Can I return a product that has been opened?

Only if necessary to inspect it as you would in a shop. If the product shows signs of use or damage, we may reduce your refund.

Who pays for return delivery?

You pay the return delivery cost unless the item is faulty or we have made an error.

How do I return an item?

Email us with your order number and details of the item you wish to return:

We will confirm whether the item is returnable and issue you with further instructions.

Faulty or Incorrect Goods

What if the flooring is faulty?

If you believe your flooring is faulty, please contact us as soon as possible with:
– Your order number
– Photos of the issue
– Batch / roll numbers (if available)

Do not install the product if you think something is wrong. Installing faulty or incorrect product may affect your rights.

What if I receive the wrong item?

Please notify us within 2 days of delivery.
We will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.

Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept major credit / debit cards and other payment options shown at checkout.

We also offer payment via Klarna.

When is payment taken?

Payment is taken at checkout. Orders are only accepted once payment has been successfully processed and confirmed.

Installation

Do you offer fitting / installation?

Afloordable supplies flooring only. Installation is carried out by your chosen installer unless you have agreed separately with us in writing.

Should I check the flooring before fitting?

Yes.
Before cutting or installing:
– Check the product
– Check the colour and batch
– Ensure it matches your order

Once installed, claims for visible issues (such as shade variation) cannot be accepted.

Data & Privacy

Do you store my personal information?

We store and process your information in accordance with our Privacy & Cookie Policy.

Do you share my data with anyone?

We only share your data with trusted third parties necessary to fulfil your order (e.g., couriers, payment providers). We never sell your data.
